Who's Who?

I have put this bit together for those of you who are new to this malarkey. The following are "loosely" referred to as officials! Why should England tremble? They are in no particular order and will probably not thank me for the photos! If any of the riders want a spot just say the word and send me a good picture or I will use the ID ones! Ha Ha.

Well I suppose I have to go first! This is Me~Nicky. The pic was taken in 2007 when we took a bunch of kids racing in Italy. Hence the sunshine. No I'm not blowing kisses "I am smoking a fag." I currently have abit less hair. Mostly down to the stick I get off this lot. Anyhoo I am Mrs. Lucky and JD's mum. For my sins I am club sec and I do the timing. We (Me & Lucky) have been doing this thing for 15 years, we have owned 2 indoor circuits, run racing here since 2001, raced all over the UK & in Europe, run hire bike fleets, raced in the IOM and generally been into bikes since we could walk. I broke my back in 2007 and so do not ride bikes anymore! I love bikes, engines, dogs and reading. I have worked in hotels, childcare and hairdressing. I want to see the sport taken seriously and help the good kids into big bikes. Any questions feel free to ask just have patience if you want to ask hard questions on race day!

This is Lucky ~ Mick. Clerk of the course. Again pic taken on the Italy trip. Trust me it was very hot as you can see by the knackered barrel in his hand! What to tell you about Mick? Well firstly he has got a naturally grumpy face! So don't worry it's normally that way. Give him a drink however and he transforms into a giggling heap! For those who don't know he was a bit of a legend on a minimoto. Top minimoto spanner man, CBT instructor, ACU coach. He has raced everywhere and won most things. He drives a truck and has technically retired now so he can help madam (JD) out with her bikes. However he sometimes puts an appearance in ~ if I let him! Any questions on racing or minimotos he's your man. If you want to buy a Polini, fix one or buy it's parts see Mick. Want to hire a minimoto also see Mick. Want to complain about someone elses bike? He's the man!  

This is JD our only offspring! Trust me one is enough because we have to provide both girl power & boys toys for her. She is nearly 18 and has been at this all her life. She has also raced everywhere and won lots of what she entered. However I cannot tell you how bad she was in the beginning. So for those parents who dispair of their average kids "leave them alone and they will come to it in time". She races minimotos, pitbikes and a Jawa 70. On her day she is fantastic, however she is capable of crashing spectacularly too. She is an auto electrician by day and she is assistant start line dude this year due to breaking her arm in style at the first round. I think there are a few chaps out there who are relieved about that! Oh and no bubble gum when riding bikes madam!

This is Wooff ~ startline dude. He isn't really that fat! Absolutely top bloke and our best bud. Another exceptional minimoto and pitbike pilot who has raced and won everywhere. The only Brit to ever bring a trophy back from Italy. He is a welder and builds trucks. He has been helping us do this for years and will help anyone with anything. It is better not to give him a drink though coz he will just end up getting in bother! It is also best not to lend him your bike, he will break it and himself. As far as I know the only rider to loose a "nut" racing minimotos! Sad but true. Fortunately it didn't stop him becoming a dad last year. Can and will fix anything ~ he has had plenty of practice!
